Jesus described his church as a family and, just like a family, everyone has a role to play. On this page you’ll find a current list of the various intra-church ministries you can participate in.
VISUIAL ARTS & PROPHETIC MINISTRIES
The Art Ministry team at Changepoint is a group of artists committed to glorifying God by creating art as part of our church service. We believe it is God-inspired and is intended to lift up the Body of Christ and help us all draw nearer to Jesus. You can visit the Art Ministry’s Facebook page here. For more information, please contact Jenny Giammatteo
The Sound Ministry handles audio production and recording for church services. Audio technicians work together with the musicians to create the best possible worship experience. Stagehands assist with setting up and facilitating musical productions.
The Visual Media Ministry augments the Sunday Morning worship experience with song lyrics, motion video, live camera feeds and lighting. Working at the visual media booth is a combination of technical skill and artistic expression; visual media volunteers have a huge impact on the immersive worship experience. For more information, please contact Jacques Battel.
On Sunday mornings the coffee bar is a center of conversation for the congregation. A warm smile and a hot cup of coffee can be an invaluable gift to a new visitor.
For more information, see Darlene Betro at the coffee bar on Sunday morning!
USHERS & GREETERS
When a visitor attends the church, the first person they meet will probably be a Greeter or an Usher. Ushers & Greeters are the face of Changepoint, its first impression. They are crucially important for keeping things running smoothly on a Sunday morning.
For more information, contact Andy & Janis Nash.
The Meals Ministry exists to provide hot meals for people in extraordinary circumstances—new parents, people recovering from illness or injury, or people grieving over the loss of a loved one. Recipients of meals don’t need to be members of Changepoint. The Meals Ministry is now led by Amber Thompson Email Amber to join the team or for more information. Preparing or delivering meals to families in need is a great way to show the love of Jesus.
Every Sunday we have a team in the Healing Ministry that wants to pray for your healing. Come up front after service for prayer with faith and expectation to see God’s miracle of healing and experience His love. If you love to pray for people and believe that God heals ALL diseases, consider joining one of the healing prayer teams. For more information, contact Terri Bostock.
CALLED FOR FREEDOM
Called for Freedom is a team-facilitated process that opens the door for inner healing from past hurts, wounds and trauma, reminds us who we are in Christ and the authority we have in Christ, and empowers us to learn the tools that God has provided for all to be free. To find out more speak with Joanne Lombardi & Terri Bostock.
The Hospital Ministry is lead by Jim & Rita Orefice for Changepoint Family. If you have a loved one who is in the hospital and needs a visit, please call Jim (845) 702-0316 or Rita (954) 734-0771 between 9am - 5pm. In life-threatening situations call Jim, Rita or Pastor Marlow anytime.
This ministry reaches out to people outside of our church walls. We rely on the Power of the Holy Spirit, who works through us by way of Healing, Prophetic Words and Encouragement. The Goal is to plant seeds, rededicate lives back to Christ, and share the Gospel. Every time we go out we are so blessed at the interesting and creative ways that God moves and speaks through us. Jesus said all who believe in His name can lay hands on the sick and the sick will be healed (Mark 16:18) For more information or if you'd like to join us please contact Jim & Rita Orefice.
This ministry is provided throughout the service. Nursery helps ensure that babies and toddlers have a safe place to go while their parents enjoy service. If you are willing to volunteer in the nursery occasionally, please contact the Church Office for more information at email@example.com
SUNDAY SCHOOL - **Please note: There is NO SUNDAY SCHOOL on Sunday, December 24 or Sunday, December 31st.**
Changepoint Sunday School seeks to honor our children as fellow members of the Body of Christ and to nurture them in their faith. Our vision is to see children come to a knowing and loving relationship with Jesus, equipped and committed to serve others and share their faith. Children are dismissed from the church service and meet in grade-level classes. For more information, please contact Ruth or Randy Zoodsma

YOU MAY CONTACT THEM INDIVIDUALLY FOR MORE INFORMATION**
Mill & Market POK **We are on break for the holidays- check back early 2018 for updates**
Mill & Market is Changepoint’s midweek Bible study. It takes place in a café atmosphere, emphasizing Biblical teaching and group discussion. A central theme of Mill & Market is that Christian life is meant to be lived out, not just talked about. Regular attenders are encouraged to come to Mill & Market with the attitude of a servant, actively seeking to share the love of Jesus through practical ministry to others. Pastor Mike Ackerbauer facilitates a rotating roster of speakers who are able to lend unique perspectives to the interpretation and teaching of Scripture.
Mill & Market takes place every Thursday at 7:00pm. Fair trade coffee is served at 6:30pm.
Alpha is an 11-week series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each weekly talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: a meal together, a talk and good conversation. For more information, contact Tom Dick
SMALL GROUPS Hebrews 10:25 instructs us, "...let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near."
Changepoint Church Small Groups is the best way to get connected to your church community. Small groups are also great for those who cannot make our regular Sunday services or who just want more of God throughout the week. They help us get deeper into God's word and to be refined through fellowship with other disciples of Christ.
